This is not A Test
This is the Emergency Voter Protection System of the Oklahoma Democratic Party announcing the countdown to the voter registration deadline.
Since the last presidential election, half a million voters have been purged from Oklahoma’s voter rolls. If you haven’t voted recently, your registration may already be gone.
No one is exempt. Your right to vote is at risk. Check your registration status now.
The deadline to register is 5pm, October 11th. Don’t Wait.

The Crisis in Oklahoma
NEARLY HALF A MILLION VOTERS VANISHED
Oklahoma is facing a voting rights crisis. Since 2021, nearly half a million voters have been purged from the rolls in the state. This means thousands of Oklahomans, who are alive and eligible to vote, have lost their ability to cast a ballot simply because they haven't voted recently.
Voter purges in Oklahoma affect the most vulnerable communities:
people with disabilities,
low-income families,
single parents, and
those without stable housing.
Many of these individuals may be unaware that they've been removed from the voter rolls until they try to vote and are denied the opportunity.
What makes this issue so urgent is that nearly 200,000 voters were purged just for being "inactive” and many may not even know they've been removed.
In a state where every vote counts, these purges can silence entire communities and shape the outcome of elections.

Cost of Registering an Oklahoma Voter
Registering or re-registering voters isn’t just a one and done type of cost—it’s about making sure our message is seen multiple times and in different ways to inspire action. Each touchpoint, whether through texts, social media ads, or face-to-face canvassing, costs money.
On average, it costs around $7 to $10 to get just one person registered. This includes sending texts, running digital ads, making phone calls, and knocking on doors—all of which are vital to ensure that every eligible voter in Oklahoma has a voice.
YOU Can Make a Difference
$10 allows us to have 10 conversations through text.
$25 puts social media ads in front of hundreds of potential voters.
$50 supports multiple door-knocking efforts to engage voters face-to-face.
$100 can fund an entire day of voter outreach across all channels.
Every dollar counts toward making sure every eligible voter has the chance to be heard. Help us fight back against voter suppression and get more Oklahomans registered to vote today!
WERE You Purged?
All Oklahomans should verify they are registered (or still registered) by October 11th.
